Books are a great way to introduce your children to the history of Independence Day in a way they can understand. Get baking

As you’re piecing it together, explore the map while having an interactive geography lesson and teaching them the names of U.S. capital cities. 4th of July crafts for kids
Get creative and keep little hands occupied with star-themed art. Grab some construction paper and cut it into the shape of a star. On a separate piece of paper, use the star cut-out as a stencil, draw a bunch of stars, and finish it with color. Grab water-based paint and glitter, and start creating your own Independence Day art project. July is one of the best months to get outside and enjoy the warm summer weather.
